Who is Pacific Harvest?

Pacific Harvest has been servicing the greater San Francisco through Monterey Bay areas since 1974. We provide restaurants, markets, hotels, country clubs, caterers and institutional customers with a Seafood Program designed to make their purchasing job easier, help please their customers, and save them time and money.

Customer Service

Superior service has been the key to our success. A professional service team will customize a seafood program that best fulfills our customers' individual needs. Our primary goal is to take the worry out of ordering. We provide solutions. We offer alternatives. There are many ways to improve the bottom line…and that's our job.

We currently offer our customers:

  • Customized seminars for their staff
  • Weekly promotions
  • Menu planning
  • Product sampling and information
  • Market information

Quality Control

Each shipment we receive is carefully inspected and graded by our Quality Control team for freshness, temperature, color, cut, weight, and shelf life. Quality control is monitored by our staff instead of placing the responsibility on our customers.

PH is HACCP compliant. We have HACCP certified employees on site at all times.

All of our product is iced and delivered via our fleet of refrigerated trucks. By properly chilling our fish, we are able to provide customers with maximum shelf life. Our trucks are cleaned daily to insure the consistent high-quality of our seafood. We do not carry fresh meat or poultry, so there is no fear of cross-contamination.

Variety - The Spice of Life!

Pacific Harvest represents fresh and frozen seafood products from over 20 countries. We are known for our wide variety of exotic as well as domestic seafood. We feature over 500 items to meet our customers' ever changing needs. We also offer a full-line of sustainably-caught seafoods.

Pricing

Our commitment to our customers is to source, process, and deliver the best products at highly competitive prices 365 days a year. Seasons, weather patterns, and availability all affect prices. We feature weekly specials to help our customers save money and take advantage of the opportunity to try new items at incredible savings.

SHRIMP ALERT
If you are being quoted shrimp prices that seem too good to be true we recommend that you:
1. Weigh the shrimp (to test accurately: wash away ice, but do not thaw the shrimp).
2. Count the number of shrimp in the box and divide by the weight of the box (usually 4 to 5 lbs) to determine the average number of shrimp per pound.
